The workshop is a professional jewellery and silversmithing workshop, fully equipped with tools and is located in Stockport, Greater Manchester.
Although the workshop is spacious places are limited to 6 students per course to allow for a more intimate, friendly atmosphere and a fantastic student/tutor ratio. All courses, with the exception of the 1-day beginner’s course, are designed to be as flexible as possible, allowing you to create your own designs and work on your own projects at your own pace.
1-day beginners course @ £90 per person to make a silver ring, £110 per person to make a silver bangle.
Suitable for complete beginners who would like to try their hand at a new skill.
You’ll be taught how to design and make a simple silver ring or bangle. You’ll be shown all of the basic traditional jewellery making techniques from sawing, filing, soldering, finishing and polishing. You’ll also have the chance to experiment with techniques for texturing metal.
You will leave with a beautifully finished ring or bangle.
